Forgotten child

by brokenwings88   Jun 27, 2005

A little girl hides in the dark
that is never seen
a little voice screaming in the night
is never heard
a little tear falling from her cheek
nobody sees
a forgotten child
fighting to be seen
tries to be set free

a little girl falls to the ground
to never be picked up
a little voice goes quiet
to never scream again
a little tear turns to ice
to never fall again
a forgotten child
that gives up trying
and just lays numb
