My Little Sister

by Laura   Jun 28, 2005

Its been bugging me alot lately;
That we never get along.
Always yelling at each other,
And arguing about who gets to use the phone.

But this is normal,
Most sisters fight,
Some don't even see each other,
Like we do every night.

We stay out of each other's life,
As much as we possibly can.
It's just something we've picked up,
And I don't understand.

I feel as though its my fault,
Cause I'm really mean to you.
Every time we try to talk,
One of us gets attitude.

I'm sorry I'm not the older sister,
That I know I should be.
But this being older thing,
Is unusual to me.

I'm not use to setting examples,
And looking out for someone.
I'm not use to being looked up to,
Or teaching right from wrong,

I'm gonna try hard,
To be the best big sister I can be,
Cause making sure we're cool,
Means the world to me.

I know it's like we're enemies sometimes,
On account of how much we argue,
But the truth is, I'd die today,
So you could live to see tomorrow.

Even though it may seem like,
I hate you sometimes,
I'll always be there for you,
No matter what day or time.

Your my little sister,
And you will always be,
So when the whole world seems against you,
You can always lean on me..
