And so it goes-

by blackrose1011   Jun 28, 2005

In the morn, the birds do chirp
The crickets hum their simple song
The chipmunks chatter happily
And through the trees-

The sun arises in the east
In a loop toward the west
In goes through its daily quest
Across the darkening sky-

The sly moon shines
Though the window,
And broken glass
Into the shadows-

He creeps
Along the sand across the beach
From the waves, and summer heat
From you dreams-

The sun will rise
Destroy all shadows
He’ll move on
Until the moon-
