Just a Thought

by blackrose1011   Jul 1, 2005

You always say that life moves on
The sun will be up at dawn.
But what if the rooster does not call?
What if the sun shall ever stall?

And at the Church will the bells not ring?
And all with voices forget to sing?
Who will be there when the sun does stall?
If all lights go out, is the moon called?

What will happen that fear filled day?
Will sinners pray and saints stray?
Who will be there to see it all?
Who will not be afraid to fall?

Will you keep moving,
Like the earth?
Or will your life cease to work?
What will happen that dark, cold day?
Will you still come out to play?
