Love is just a word

by Bex   Jul 1, 2005

Love is just a word
Something unheard
Wind is just fast moving air
More invisible than a hair
Life is full of the crappie things
Like every step you’re on pins
Kids get left behind
Parents can be un-kind
People get killed
Air is stilled
Falling so far
But you’re not looking like a shooting star
Kids feel like its world war three
It’s like no one wants to see
Is some one going to save the human race
Guess we couldn’t keep up with the pace
Some people believe in something above
Every one needs to feel loved
Every where people hold back because of fear
What would you do just to feel near
Wisdom they say comes with age
Age can also put you in a cage
Close your mind to things that are real
Keep not letting your wounds heal
