False Guilt

by David Keltch   Jul 2, 2005

As the guilt Chases
She looks for friendly faces
But she looks in all of the wrong places
Her feelings wound as tight as knotted laces
Her pain she will never drop
She wants all the memories to stop
She lets it out and tells a friend
They send the man to jail where his life shall end
The girl realizes she has done nothing wrong
And the angels begin to sing her redemption song
