Once you've been in love

by Casey   Jul 4, 2005

Once you've been in love
Nothing else can compare.
Nothing else can satisfy the hunger
to have arms full
of what you know is real.
To let eyes drink in
The purest sight of love
until the mind is drunk.
Nothing else can thrill the heart
Like that first long kiss.
No other could love you the same
Once you've been in love.

I love the feel of this poem. I know what you mean, nothing can compare to love. Nothing can make you feel the way it does and once you've found it nothing else can replace it.
