Musical Feelings

All these feelings
Held together
Held up so high
Won't stay there forever

Watching me
Won't change anything
Close your eyes
And listen to me sing

These words flow
From a place unknown
From deep within
They have flown

I've kept them captive
Afraid to let them free
They're helping release
The feelings in me

They're breaking free
Taking control
They're taking everything
That kept me from being whole

They are fighting away
All the fears
Wiping away
All the tears

I sing this song
Losing myself in its comfort
There's nothing more
Nothing of the sort

I snap back to reality
Feeling cleansed and refreshed
Having this music
Leaves me feeling blessed...

**I'm a singer and music takes me to a place where I can be free...Music is my escape! **
