Bye bye Child

by goot   Jul 7, 2005

Never knowing what lives
nor what dies
As life coils like unknown
and crimson reaps the wrists
of young children
with burdens of the being
That lives in this house.

As the demon wakes to drink its fill
it stirs in its womb
of the child who it has chosen
like many others to come
and many before
this one has been selected
by the demon
That lives in this house.

She wakes and groans
wishing for no life
screaming for her end
a fatal suicide
that has been put on
by the monster
That lives in this house.

Never lives to see
her day of age well nourished
and lives again
in the dreams
that fill her head
all bore by the one
That lives in this house.

This house
it is haunted
and the child
is so young
yet she does not know
what dwells beneath her bed
as much as she doesn't believe
they know she does
and love it

So she was consumed
and in the night
of evil screams
she awakes in sleep
and collects her soul
from the devil

the knife
too small
she looks around in daze
the shining
on the wall
a butchers cleaver
that weighs in her hands

up it swings
above her head
these idle hands will go
and now she places
gently
her hand on the bench
and closes her eyes

i cannot hide
i must watch
the demon eggs her on
and so
she looks on
and swings the weight
down, down, down
a mighty blow
a clunk
blood
blood
blood

screaming
who is screaming?
she snaps her mouth shut quick
only a few seconds
thats all i screamed
only a few seconds
maybe i will go
unnoticed

blurs
blood
crimson
pain
laughter
the demon cackles
she falls to the floor
and hits her head
on something soft

her own hand
no longer attatched
now sits limp
by her face
and she slowly looks
to her hand
which is now a stump
bleeding
and she dies
with a scream
and a laugh

and so the demon escapes
and moves on
to her child sister
who is unaware
of the happenings
below her bed...
