Mirror

When you look in the mirror what do you see?
I see a stranger looking back at me.
So i turn off the light,
And sit infront of the mirror-there's no one in sight.

In the dark, better i look,
My uniqueness the stranger took.
I'm alone the stranger has disappeared.
The stranger i have so long feared.

In the shadows, i am concealed.
Where i'll stay till my ego's healed.
Truth is hiden in the night.
My ego shatters in the day-light.
