Why did you start talking to me...
if you knew you'd quit.
Why did you say you liked me...
if you only intended on being friends.
Why did you say i could trust you...
and then break my heart.
Why did you say you wouldn't ever let me go...
then end up pushing me away.
Why did you make plans and promises...
if you knew you couldn't keep them.
Why did you say I was special...
but then treat me like dirt.
Why did you kiss me...
then go off and leave me.
Why did you hold my hand...
if you were planning on letting it go.
Why did you introduce me to your parents...
if now they'll only forget.
Why did you tell me things...
that now mean nothing at all.
but most of all WHY did you play games...
if you knew I'd get hurt.
