Was it another dream?

by Josiah Larson   Jul 7, 2005

When we first met I knew then
that you were the right from the start
my love grew for you more then you can imagine
we were like two doves flying so high
my emotions grew stronger each and every day

I want to whisper in you ear
and tell you how much I love you
each and every day
every time you touch me
you surprise me with something new

Every little door you open to me
is just another adventure
every thing you do to me
just brightens my day

As I look at you
and you look at me
straight in to our eyes
we try to see our future

But when I look at you in the eye
all I can see is a lie
I promised to be truthful
and as you did to

It may hurt me not knowing what you did
but it will hurt worse to know what you did
I rather not know at all
of what you hid
or maybe even what you did

But the fact is I love you
and each and every day I see you
my heart pounds oh so fast
but that didn't matter to you

each and every day
of which you seen me
you just let me be
and left me there
to sweep and sorrow
but that has past

And so have I
and you were nothing new
but someone I loved
I couldn't believe
you really ment bye
but when you leave

I want you to know
that I still love you
yes you thats who
who did you think
it was not I
you commented to such a crime

So as our love sinks
you just let me fade away
each and every day

but now its time
for my bells to ring
for the last time
they will chime
when I do my dreadful crime
unlike yours you'll be alive

unlike mine I'll chopping away
on my sadful and painful life
with this sweetly knife
that will make me bleed
just because you have greed
but don't worry about me

For at noontime
its my time
time for my crime
as I once said

its time for me to die
and make you cry
don't be shy
in what you feel
because you know its real

So let your tears
and even your fears
just smear
all over what you call
our sweet love
because I want you to ball
my sweet dove
