Feelings

by Jill Turner   Oct 30, 2003

If the sun never shines,
Or the rain never falls,
The days would be sad,
And we'd have nothing at all.
The sun is God's smile,
The rain is his tears,
And without these emotions,
We would have no fears.
Should we sacrafice the good things,
To deminish all of the bad,
Would we rather feel nothing,
Than be happy or sad.
I would rather feel hurt and pain,
And feel something,
Because hurt goes away and gets better,
But being numb to life makes a person nothing.
Your feelings make you who you are,
They make you real,
So would you take the opportunity to live,
Or would you choose to never feel?
