A Brother’s Love

A Brother’s Love

Little brother I know your pain,
But from this life you live there is nothing to gain.
I’ve been down your road before,
On that part of my life I shut the door.
You’re out there trying to make that bread,
All you’re going to do is whined up dead.
You think that there is no way out,
I’m living proof there is without a doubt.
I’ve always had your back and you’ve had mine,
So little brother you need to trust me this time.
You bottle up all this hate in your heart,
When did all this insanity start?
I know you did this so I would see,
But baby boy you never had to impress me.
So this time big brother knows best,
Don’t be just another number and end up like the rest.
There is still time to leave it be,
So give it up and set yourself free.
