Imagine a time of the past
Before peace was lost at vast
Before pain was known
Before there was a reason to atone
Before people lost trust
Before man had lust
Before war and invasions began
Before the diary of a girl named Anne
Before a time when life was simple and sweet
Before the brutal deaths caused by greed
Before a man's life was priced
Before there was a reason for the skin to be sliced
Before the fall of simplicity
Before life was misled by impurity
Before suicide had a reason
Before anyone was executed for treason
Before the racism and riots took place
Before they lost the true meaning of grace
Before the African Segregation
Before there was anger and frustration
U can never imagine these
Now realize that this past had never existed
Words have been thrown and twisted
Pain will be for us to endure
Through experience we will mature
In life nothing is perfect
So together we'll find respect
