Overcome

by Miss Kay   Jul 9, 2005

Surrounded by impossibility
Only to prove yourself
Forsaken mortality
Only to prove immortal
We're cradled with nothingness
So that our hearts grow cold
We learn as we breathe
That sweet emptiness gets old
The sky's turned off
Stars are just a memory
The world grows quiet as she bleeds
Blood drops of a deadly sin
In a game where no one wins
Happiness as an impossibility
Hardly, anyone can see
Possibly because..
These feelings are unknown to the world
Imagination shields the eyes of the young
Some just don't see what's going on
It's fine cause we're building strength
Soon nothing will even phase
Things will soon be forgotten
The memories dissolve
Into the motionless air the thoughts die
Along with millions who secretly cry

Yeah this might seem strange to you...but I guess I wrote it as I was in one of those weird moods. Comments please.
