Nonexistant Happiness

by Miss Kay   Apr 19, 2007

Feeling the pain inside my heart
But sworn to secrecy
I can't let myself fall apart
Or be an indecency

Holding tight to what I love dear
But knowing it's gone forever
That's the reality I fear
It's the one thing I try not to remember

My smile's fading, it's not so clear
The pain breaks my heart
Holding back every tear
But knowing I'd fail from the start

I'm holding onto fantasized memories
That I try to think are real
Denying to myself the obvious discrepancy
Trying to hide everything that I feel
