Echoes

Echoes of your melody spin teardrops in my mind
Who will kiss your falling tears, now you’ve left me behind?
Up above and down below, those smokey whisps of time
Circle where you used to lay, in this heart of mine

I picture your face upon the pillow, resting in your sleep
But I can’t see you through my tears; you left me here to weep
Who will take good care of you, now you’re so far away?
I wish that I could turn back time, rewind to yesterday

But time ticks slow and my heartbeats fast, this pain; it never ends
You left your trace upon my life, now I can never mend

Sparkles in your bright blue eyes, were left to slowly fade
And on that day they let you go, my first prayer for you was made
A prayer entwined with endless love and sealed with a tear
A prayer that must have been forgotten, for you are still not here

I close my eyes from the torture, which burns so deep inside
But the pain still rips right through my skin, and my eyes are open wide
So I close my mind from the memories that time cannot replace
But where my heart, used to be, there is now an empty space

How can you be here all my life, then leave without a trace?
I close my eyes to find you’re love, but I can’t see your face
Why can’t I see your face?

    Oh my Toni :( That's so sad, SO beautifully written though darlin, it really was, borught tears to my eyes. I wish I could give you everything you wanted, but I guess I can only try =\ I hope things are alright. You knwo I'm always here for you, whenever you need me. No matter what.
