Dear God........

Another day has passed on by.
I just need to talk to you right now.
God, I'll try not to cry...
But tonight, I don't know how.

God, how will I make it tomorrow?
This world is just so demanding.
If your strength you would let me borrow.
Maybe all this I would feel like withstanding....

There is nothing left to see..
I am so tired of everything in sight.
I've seen it all before, so why put up this fight.

I have to fight for each breath I take.
Each meal I eat a day..
Each smile that comes across my face.
Each person in my way.........

I know I can make this,
All i need is you.....
God I will take this,
If you just pull me through...

God make the war go away.
I'm so tired of death.
It is in our own way,
our fault for our own soldiers last breath......

God why must the people in our country trick young teens into war?
Telling them about money,
And now they're not with us anymore....

A few wanted the money for marriage.
Or for a brand new car....
Instead it is just sitting in a driveway...
Instead there is only broken hearts........

God remove all this poverty,
Young babies suffer so....
They're all dying slowly,
And all along we know.

God what happened to our country?
I thought we were one.
I thought we stood together...
But the care for each other we show is none......

God what happened to our youth...
Why does the devil need to feed so.....
God just make him go away.
So our youth will continue to grow.

God touch their hearts.....
Open up their souls,
There is so much more than hate.....
God just let them know....

God what happened to our families.
Since when can parents walk away?
Abandoning their babies?
They never live to see a day.

What if they could have been a star?
The first to cure cancer?
What if that could have been the best president?
That will bring us all the answers?.....

God why do kids my age have sex with everyone they see?
To say they just want fun?
That is something they shouldn't be.....

God we must change this path we have taken..
We need to God, we must....
God bless this country that appears forsaken..
Cause in God we Trust...
