Footsteps

by DarkOpex   Jul 10, 2005

I walk in your footsteps, I follow you closely, you keep me going mostly.
I cry your tears and take your broken heart.
I feel what you feel; we’re not to far apart.

You walk in circles lost and dazed; you can’t find your way out of this maze.
But I follow you like a shadow, eye you like a hawk.
I walk in your footsteps; we are most certainly not apart.

I lurk in the darkness, searching for your soul.
All I find is a big black hole.
You care for yourself, and nothing more.
You don’t even help the poor people who come to your door.

I’m your true lover; I follow you round,
You turn my world upside down
I watched from a distance too afraid to speak,
too afraid to make a peep.

Your eyes make me wonder of the maze of life,
if I’ll ever find another and not think about you twice.
Your eyes are so deep, yearning for a lover,
but when you came upon me, you took another

My heart was broken all by you.
After so long I helped you.
You took me by surprise
and didn’t care how I was in total despair.

I keep your circle going never let it end, that way you never bend.
I know I can’t stop you from loving another,
But you should really learn to never
over look one another.
