He was a great dog that minded my word
I will not forget that he was here
My dog from heaven that kept him near
I gave him a home and took care of his needs
But somehow he was taken away from me
His friendliness will never be forgotten
I will keep him in my heart forever
I will miss his bark this much is true
It is not enough to say this life was through
Buck was my favorite to me you see
A companion I had for many needs
One of a kind he listened to commands
And always wanted to shake my hand
I know this is the way it should happen
He will live a better life in heaven
It is very hard for me to let this dog go
But he will see again the path the only he knows
And God when you get him let him know I cared
