The heart never forgets the ones we love
When knowing they are home with God
Their tenderness will live forever
A world to grow to be remembered
There is good in these people we know
And in our hearts we love them so
The heart is the holding of many things
A smile to others who keep out the pain
The tear, or smile, the laughter of a little child
Tenderness for when our families gather
The heart never forgets friends we have lost
Especially ones that were here on this earth
Keep in mind the love we share
To all those people we held so dear
And even when we are taken from this world
Just remember this poem I wrote
The will of God is here to keep
Just talk to him in your time of need
God strengthens us to help our sorrows
And guides us through our many tomorrows
The heart never forgets people that care
While giving their thoughts of others out there
They show friendliness to others in need
And give their all to people they see
To those outside their defending circle
We share our love, our thoughts and other
We welcome others into our homes
To bring you laughter when feeling alone
