Feeling

This is one of those times
when i can't spill my heart onto paper

the words haven't been created yet.

their too much
too strong
or too weak
too harsh
or just don't sound perfect.

its frustrating, but i suppose
that if this feeling were meant to be shared,
the words would be available.

so I'll keep it here
in my heart
hidden, warm still
in the shadows.

mine own small haven
however long it lasts
I'm glad to know i have it now
because it tells me I'm alive

this wish is not yet broken.
