You ask me to trust you but you don't understand That I lothe everything that I am

I run and hide no matter what
to protect myself, I keep my heart shut

I want to trust, you have no clue
All the things I want to tell you

I want to be everything you want me to be
but everything I am is nothing that you see

I have tried to Love but everytime I do
I think back to all the times He made me black and blue

There are horrible sins that I always commit
But only if I trust you, can I ever admit
