What He Used To Say...

by Hayley Marie   Jul 12, 2005

*I am writing a lot of my poems about my Granddad who died 6 years ago. I'm still grieving*

Keep your head up,
And you'll be fine,
You'll be OK,
Just give it time.

I gave it time,
And nothings better,
The pouring rain,
Keeps getting me wetter.

You'll be a great copper,
And a great mom,
You'll be a great partner,
Just please be calm.

I tried being calm,
It didn't work,
I tried everything,
But i still feel like dirt.

I know you're only young,
But i can tell you'll be happy,
I'll keep on watching you,
So don't feel crappy.

I still feel crappy
Are you watching me?
Because i don't feel happy,
Just really angry.

Have a Werther and a Mint,
Just before you go to school,
It'll take you though the day,
It'll make you feel cool.

It made me feel cool,
But today? where's my treat?!
Bamps, you're gone,
Maybe, just one more sweet?

*thanks for reading!!!*
