Behind Closed Doors

He watches her esquisite smile,
He leads her on,
He loves her so much,
Though sometimes he's wrong.

He lives behind endless lies,
He said he really cared,
But so much was left unsaid,
In reality he was truly scared.

She believed every word he said.
Even though she could tell they were not genuine.
In like all fairy tales...
She fell inlove with him.

The one thing that stopped him
And mad him do what had to occur
Were the "cool" friends that seemed so,
Much more important than her.

He said," it could be our secret
Nobody can know but just us two."
Is she supposed to read between the lines?
That in fairy tales not all love is true.

Everything she sees reminds her of him.
The sky so bright and blue.
It seems as if her life is so overrated...
If only somehow he knew.

The pain she goes thru daily,
The sight of him go by.
She goes back to the first day.
Before she knew of the unbearable lies...

(Me and my best friend wrote this about a guy who loves me at his house and ignores me when hes around his friends....hes too embarrassed. This is the first poem i ever wrote.. )
