Mirror, Mirror

by Thao Anh   Jul 14, 2005

Mirror, Mirror, please tell me more
About the girl whose heart
That was broken apart
By a boy that did not care
And still doesn't know what's fair

Mirror, Mirror, please tell me more
About the heart that was found
Torn, and ripped, and buried in the ground
With the fingerprints of a boy
Who played her like a toy

Mirror, Mirror please tell me more
About the girl whose knife
Lays in wait to take her life
Taking the minutes off her time
Like some kinda crime

Mirror, Mirror, please tell me more
About the girl whose best friend
Tries but fails to pretend
That she is so worth it
But makes her feel like sh*t

Mirror, Mirror, please tell me more
About the girl who dies inside
With the cold, black heart she hides
Under the fake smile she wears
And the fake soul that everyone tears

Mirror, Mirror, please tell me more
About the girl who is wanting
To stop this emotion from haunting
Her every living second
For she hears something beckon

Mirror, Mirror, please tell me more
About the darkness that is creeping
Into her very soul, it is seeping
Like some kinda parasite
That she cannot fight

Mirror, Mirror, please tell me more
About the girl that's dead within
And doesn't want to be open
But people open her up all the way
Even though she runs away

Mirror, Mirror, please tell me more
About the girl whose gun
That rushes to her head, but hasn't won
This dangerous war- At least not for today
But it waits patiently to kill its prey

Mirror, Mirror, please tell me more
About the girl whose self-esteem is so low
She can never walk too slow
She puts her head down and turns her face
Because she'd know that she'd be out of place

Mirror, Mirror, please tell me more
Between your chipped glass that pricks her skin
Secrets are held and you hold them in
The blood from her hand ruins your complexion
She's lost and locked in her world of damnation
You slowly mean nothing, you slowly dissolved
And slower than you, she got too involved
With everything that was too far from life
But got too close to her, and there was the knife
Cuts in her arms, engraved was her art
Plunged in her skin, punctured her heart
So this is a sad ending, but certainly not for her
It ended her life, making everything better
So Mirror, Mirror, are you telling her more?
Giving her everything that she has always asked for?

**Sorry this was long, but I really hoped you liked it. Please vote and comment, it would mean alot to me even if it was bad! Thanks!**

That was excellent. I loved the entire thing despite the length. It was done exceptionally well.
