HUSHED MEMORIES

Hushed Memories
by Jessica Mickelson
A tear runs down my cheek
From the thought of never being yours again
My heart feels weak
Are you happy? How have you been?

I can’t stop thinking about you
You told me you hate me
Is what you said true?
I hope you’re happy.

All I do is cry
You said you loved me always
Why did you lie?
I cry over you for days.

Do you care?
You were my everything
We were the perfect pair
Now every thing is changing.

Crushes are crushed
But love is everlasting
Our love was hushed
My memory of you is passing.

I am going to forget
I had dreams of being your wife
Now I wish we never met
I hate you, have a nice life…
