Starlit perfection

by [a lie within]   Jul 15, 2005

You closed your eyes _one_last_time_
before
s
i
n
k
i
n
g

to the bottom

your hands shake and words break under your breath
a mind clear of faint fear, but you know you'll hit the bottom soon

you'll hit the bottom.

new light, a new home, a plastic sore
new life, a new knife, another who.o.re

life's just too good to waste
//.but why do you insist?

water fills a mouth full of lies
:cleansing the sin and erasing the signs
lungs closing in

[oh f u ck, you cant turn back now, you cant turn back]

theres no escaping hell at this level_ _ _

....................................................

re-rising}.

I stop to reconsider the trend
WHATS LIFE WITHOUT PERFECTION:
without a fake smile and a plastic dream
without being everything

of course she was useless
careless and
wrong

whats a mistake
if there was never
a flaw

suffocating on water and words
choking on lies and biting back salvation

redemption is for L.I.A.R.S.

and liars are for keeping

--no more, the darkness looks so pretty--
but its carrying me away and spitting me out

LIGHT.
ITS.
BLINDING.
AND.
BINDING.
ME.
WITHIN.

floating to the top of an ice less ocean
I forgot to stop [moving]
and let myself sink

/to the bottom\

to the core of mmis belief

.somehow breathing again ddoesn'tseems too bad.

(sorry for the text art. it was originally for AP)
