The girl (dedicated to xtine)

I see someone in front of me
but i don't know who she is
i wish that i knew her
but i think at one time i did.

the girl in front of me is crying
i want to help her but i don't know how
i really don't know whats wrong
she is cutting her wrist now.

the girl is so depressed
i don't know what to say to her
i can see just by watching her
that by the minute she's getting weaker

her eyes tell a story
of a past of pain and sorrow
i want to help this girl
show her that theres a point of tomorrow

but i don't know what to say
to stop the blood and tears
i want to stop the girl
and fight away all of her fears

the girl is so confused
she cries as she cuts her wrist
the girl is trying to leave
she thinks she wont be missed

i look into her eyes
they are so full of tears
this girl is shaking shes so upset
she cuts deeper and her death nears

but who is this girl? i ask
i want to make it a bit clearer
but as i try to reach out to her
i realize the girl is in my mirror.
