For Me

Does it matter to you?
That I feel so bad?
That I may be smiling?
But deep down Im feeling sad?

All these tears,
Im sick of crying,
All these smiles,
I'm sick of lying.

You think its all for attention,
That I really can't feel,
Just because I'm a teenager,
Means that nothing is real,

You don't care that I'm cutting,
Only that I'm doing well,
In the classroom and in drama,
Not that this feels like hell.

Would you care, If I died?
And I still got good grades?
Do you care that I'm bleeding?
And these scars don't fade...

I cover it quite well,
And people think I'm fine,
And really they don't care,
I'm this close to crossing the line.

I'm sick of trying to be perfect,
Sick of trying to make you see,
If your really my parents,
Than you'll love me, for ME!
