Beyond Words

by Brad Champagne   Jul 15, 2005

I ever see your lambent face,
A vision of dumbfounding beauty.
Through the wonder of his grace
The Lord has sent an angel to me.

When the world is cruel, unkind,
I simply have to close my eyes
And picture you within my mind
And the bitter feeling dies.

Forever may love's anthem ring
Throughout all eternity.
It is for you now I sing;
I dedicate my life to thee.

My love still I freely give
To you each and every day.
For as long as I may live,
I'll continue in this way.

Your beauty goes beyond the words
That mortal men have made.
The ancient nymphs, and angels fair,
In your image must be made.

As love enshrouds the heart, the mind,
I find the strength to say,
"May our spirits as one bind
Until our final day."

Take my life and let it be
Consecrated e'er to thee.
Take my hand, my heart, my life,
For to you they belong as love's midwife.
