Life (The Beginning)

by Christopher Cole   Jul 16, 2005

Out you come
just like a plum
so small and cute
but not on mute

You scream and you yell
you show your tail
crying and begging
irritating and nagging

Whoopings are given
you always run off crying
as a kid thats young and new
waiting for that special ten plus two

Your teeth come in
and you learn to write with a pen
your hair grows out
you always pout

So much energy to use
making the adults blow a fuse
your wild and couragous
so free and hilarious

This is the beginning
so far from the ending
the beginning of you life to live
and the beginning of so many things to give.
