Life (The Middle Ages)

by Christopher Cole   Jul 16, 2005

Wow now your hitting your teenage years
You now have many more peers
13 years of age
just closer to the years of rage

Smoking and drugs will now be seen
You want more green
Dating is on your mind
Your wanting a little bump and grind

Going out on dates is a regular thing
girl with your clothes and boys with your bling
our mind starts to think more
there are many more things that you adore

You are stressed sometimes
from the losses and the lies
and you hold your feelings in
and you even make the same mistakes again

You are no longer a kid
there is not just one friend
a school full of teenagers
you are now in the middle ages

Your learners and your licenses
is the start of your crisis
the gas that you are buying
you are really paying

16 years of age
now your out that cage
a job you need to have
to get your car and gas

17 and just one more year
the last year is so dear
you have it in your head
it's easier done than said

18 is now here
this is your biggest fear
you thought is was going to be great
but now you got bills that can't be late

No more time to play
you work to get your pay
there is no laying out
no more time to pout

19 and you've gone a year
you have probably found someone to wash away your fears
now you are paying dues
about to blow a fuse

You can no longer run to your parents
it's like you abandoned in a little tent
this is your life of the middle ages
and there is sure to be more pages.
