I thought you were the one
the one who would leave my heart full.
but all you did was leave it sad and dull.

you carried me along the way,
but dropped me half of the time
you left with no more words to say
not even leaving a spare dime.

i thought you were the one
i could lean on when i was down,
but all you did was step on me
look at what you have done now!
