Confusion

by Evanesce   Jul 18, 2005

Your fingers are buried deep into my skin,
holding onto you means more than the tearing within.
What sin did I commit to deserve this pain?
Why does the answer not seam plain?
I give you everything that I can give,
to make you smile and make you live.
And still you buried your claws further in a constant reach.
My tears fall faster than my words of speech.
Though I hate the neglect that I now know,
I love you more than to tell you so.
Because I'm afraid to lose you completely,
I keep the feelings to myself buried discretely.
I do not deserve this treatment it is clear,
even if it means risking what I fear.
What is happening I can not dismiss,
and I'm sorry if you hate me for this.
