The Ocean

by Carmen   Jul 19, 2005

She was handcuffed
Standing upon a brick wall
Beneath her an ocean
And in seconds she'll fall

A scar on her face
Blood on her dress
Imperfections around her
Her life was a mess

Her boyfriend would rape her
Put a gun to her head
Force her to satisfy him
Or she'd end up dead

So she would fight back the tears
But let out the cries
Sitting in the dark
As her soul slowly dies

Her feet on the edge, she was ready
Thoughts racing through her head
She whispers goodbye
And falls into an ocean bed
