Discomfort: Shaved Legs

This annoyance only a woman would know
Irritation of the stilts attatched to my hips
Rubbing against my nightie bottoms
Slapping on a cold cream lullaby to the ashen cushion roused by disturbing flakes

Toppled grasses are cut away
Leaving a land bare and sore
But in only a matter of hours
Old, rough stems sprout again because the roots were never killed...
