Needing

When I close my eyes,
Nothing at all is askew.
When I dream at night,
Nothing is troubling.

But everything haunts me,
When your not here to save me.
When I'm all alone, and
Nobody ever seems to care.

That's when I turn.
When all goes wrong,
I fall and cry,
Then I turn into it.

The monsters the demons,
Have nothing on me.
I show no mercy,
No compassion.

All the trials and all of my nightmares,
Turn me into something I don't wanna be.
I loose control of my thoughts and actions.
Can't hold it, can't do it, I can't live on!

But then your there,
Always and forever like you promised.
Your there when I'm about to let go.
When I grab the blade.
In good times or in bad, just like you promised.

You save me from this unkind world.
You keep me from my terrors.
From the blood, you pick me up,
When I have fallen so far, I can't see any light.

I need you with me,
To keep me strong and breathing.
I can't survive without you.
The walls close in when you aren't there to push them back.
