The Life I've Been Given:Part II {Re-Submitted}

by Hayley Marie   Jul 20, 2005

*for some reason, this poem keeps getting deleted. I'm going to find out why*

The life I was given,
Ain't too great,
Actually some things,
I really do hate.

I write poetry,
To keep me sane,
I wish my family,
Could do the same.

The life Ive been given,
Started off wonderful,
Now?
Its like ‘Depression Ville’

My dad,
He goes out every night
Me and my Brother,
We fuss and fight.

My sister,
We don’t see each other,
My mother,
Its like my brother.

My Auntie,
Always relies on me,
My Nana,
She sits there quietly.

My Nan,
Lives too far away,
My Granddad,
He will never stay.

My closest family,
Have sadly died,
Ever since then,
I’ve always cried.

So here I am again,
Writing yet another poem,
Take note people,
This is the life I’ve been given!!
