Dreamworlds

by Roulin   Jul 21, 2005

I live inside my own dreams,
where things are never what they seem,
My dreams are painful, slow and lucid,
when things turn bizzare the reasons rancid.

Dreams of you and dreams of death,
None of you know how it feels at your last breath,
When you see your best friends rotting on a shelf,
When you have been murdered by yourself.

It's the night I'm waking up!
Where you can see me breaking up,
Rising to my full height in power,
Left hand holds flute, right hand holds flower,

I'ts the day I'm going back to sleep,
Dreaming of a place where I've no need to weep,
It's so strange and structured yet so unreal,
Where I can think but never feel,

Mostly I'm at a curious place,
Where everyone walks at the same kind of pace,
We all wear dark blazers and striped ties,
All hiding secrets and telling lies,

Sometimes I wonder which is dream which is reality
What is as it seems and what is fantasy,
Until I'm truly awake I'll never know,
Which way the river of my mind will flow.
