We write these poems,
To show our feelings,
We uncover our heart,
To share our deepest thought.
Some people put us down,
For our love of writing,
But this is our way
To say what we need to say.
Sometimes we just can't write anymore,
Because everything feels all at the same time,
We are expressionists,
Us that write.
Our poems are of beauty,
some of the greatest masterpieces.
But belonging,
That's why we do it.
Talking,
I can't do,
But ask me to write a poem
I can say anything, by sitting and thinking about life.
Poems brighten my day,
Sometimes help me get through life,
They are always there to write.
Unlike friends, and people.
I go every day,
And see people that don't let out their emotions,
I'm one of those people so it would seem,
Except my escape is found in my poem-writing.
Who knows,
I might be all wrong,
But this is how I feel.
