My Hero

My daddy isn't here,
But in soul he is near.
He has been with me... all of my years.

He wasn't always there,
But he always cared.
Some of you would think, that isn't fair.

Mummy says he's proud of me,
That he does believe.
That soon one day... him i will see.

He wasn't there at the time of my birth,
But he was prepared to leave this earth.
He risked himself,
To save someone else...
My dad from Ground Zero,
He is my Hero.

He fought very well,
My mummy does tell...
That he is in heaven... Far from hell.

He fought the flames,
All in God's name.
I love my daddy, he feels the same.

He is my best friend,
On his trust i depend...
He will always be with me, right 'til the end.
