Lingering shadow

by Hans Fausto   Jul 24, 2005

A little girl with a mind so meek,
sees a shadow knowing not what to seek.
So there is something she asks,
not before she does a menial task.
A task so vile and obscene,
A task she would not forseen.
Regret now lingers beyond,
something to her will forever bond.
And so she asked for the shadow to be undone,
for it is her will for it to begone,
so she may forget all that she has done...
