Do you want me to,
Make a promise I can’t keep?
Or would you rather,
Just let me be me?
Do you want me to lie?
Or suffer under the truth,
Do you want me to die?
Or have to live without you?
Do you want me to shatter?
Or hide and say I’m ok,
Would you rather I stay trapped,
Or try to get away?
Do you want me to understand?
Or do I just stay confused?
Can I live my life?
Or do I still have to depend on you?
