Feel My Sorrowing Pain

by Josiah Larson   Jul 26, 2005

I read your mind
as if it was a book
I can not get unhooked
But I think its time

To say something to you
it is something that you went through
if you could only understand what I new

You put me through so much sorrow and pain
You were thinking that life was a game
I found something in your mind
That wasn't to kind

How could I not see
Why was I so blind
I really thought you were mine
if only the world would've let us alone
they would've seen
that we should've meant to be
can't the world understand my groan
isn't it at the right tone

As I read your sweet tender mind
I see you were in bed
not using your head
but thats not as you once said
my heart just grinds

Why did you have to lie
best of all you Deny
what you try ed to hide
the blood in my heart just drys and Fry's

Was it not enough to take my heart
and leave me in the dark
you make this such a art

I didn't think
that such a little girl
could bring me down in such a big world
I see her in my head
my feelings just shred

For when my eyes blink
I begin to rethink
that what I told you to do
was for the best
so I didn't end up like the rest
my love for you just turned blue
as my anger brewed
and as you begin to chew

On every thought in my head
making my feelings unscrew
but all I can say
is that every painful day
I have to live with
such a dreadful myth
But as you once said
the love for me wasn't so true

Oi! One of the best i've seen from you yet, Josiah. :) Awesome...the pain is clear in this poem, it hurt me in a way...and the rhyming scheme is unique! I enjoyed the entire piece.

    Take care. //ari\\
