She fell

by jello   Jul 26, 2005

She took the fall
For something that wasn’t hers
She fell down

She’s been drowning in her own misery
With nothing but a frown
Slowly dying inside

She turned to a knife
Fell down a hole
Never to get back up

Laying in the water was her broken heart
Dead as dead can be when she was found

In stansa 3 line 3 maybe it would sound better to put "Never to come back again". It's just a suggestion. Keep up the writing I think you have a good thing going.
