Graduation

by Elizabeth   Jul 26, 2005

It's finally here.
Our long awaited senior year.

So have some fun.
This is our last year as a student of Nansemond River.
There will be no more lockers that don't match our schools pride.
And no more spontaneous exciting joy rides.
No more Warpath yearbooks.
And no more freshman with wondrous looks.

In June we will cross the stage and receive our diplomas.
Therefore finalizing the last phase of metamorphosis from adolescence into adulthood.

This summer stretches before us as our last chance.
Our last chance to say good-bye to everyone we hold dear.
This is our last holiday before college,
And unfortunately it will be full of parting tears.

The class of 2006 says:
Good-bye Nansemond River,
Good-bye to our favorite teachers And of course good-bye to our friends.
