Love & Hate (every angle)

by Ian Robert   Jul 28, 2005

.Love, Above, and Heavens Gate.

A kiss for the statue in power,
Love for this wilted flower,
Treat a desperate man sex for the hour,
Lick the wound and make it taste sour.

You think your gods right hand man,
Holding time’s most calculated sand,
Watching over this mans precious land.

I laced the letters I sent you,
With my hearts bleeding ashes,
The mascara on your lashes,
I even cry when her soul crashes.

.Hate, Rape and The Stolen Peach.

What was once in my bed,
Now is left in a park for dead,
Nothings right in my sick head.

Underlying beauty in death,
Never giving the little one rest,
Pushed and pushed, the blades under her skin,
In a backroom, she knows, that I gave her an escape,
Metallic shimmer, slice, slice, and let the life bleed back into you.

I’ve told her so many lies, and in her dying moment I told her truth,
Tears fell, begging for a lost youth, she never wanted to be loose,
A sacred moment stolen by strangers, something savored for one,
Taken by whom the devil pleases, and the girl screams to the sharp edge.

Why is it that no one listens, locked into my cement tomb,
Stolen from this young girl was the creation of her womb.

Hallucinations I see every were,
This is some new kind of despair,
Forever haunted by what I’ve done,
The blood of the little one.

This was a difficult poem to write.. please read it with respect and take note that most poetry is emotional fiction.
