Pretend

by Greedy   Jul 29, 2005

I'm not this person that you see,
it'd be foolish to think you know me, you and I are not the same,
I take pleasure in this little game,
I fake who I am, I pretend.
I can be anyone, there is no means to an end, not for me I'm everywhere, your friend or foe, here pretending to care, or there showing you hate, in the big deceptions that I create. I've covered myself exceptionally well, I'll never be uncovered, no one will believe what you tell, because they're deceived too, I've tricked them just like I tricked you.
